Passkeys FAQ – Everything You Need to Know
Here are answers to common questions about passkeys. We’ve made them simple and easy to understand!
A passkey is a new way to sign in without passwords. It uses your fingerprint, Face ID, or device PIN to log you in securely.
Instead of a password, your phone or computer creates and stores a secret key for your account. When you log in, your device confirms it’s you using biometrics or a PIN.
- No passwords to remember.
- More secure – It can’t be stolen or hacked like passwords.
- Faster logins – Just use your fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN.
- Works on all devices – Syncs across Android, iPhone, and computers.
- Open the Paytali app
- Sign In with your email and password
- Select Create Passkey
- Enter your device's Biometric or Face ID
That’s it! Your passkey is now saved on your device.
Tip: You'll need a password manager app to securely store and manage your passkey.
If your passkey is saved in the cloud (Google Password Manager for Android or iCloud Keychain for iPhone), you can restore it on a new phone when you log in.
If not, you can send us an in-app message or mail help@paytali.com so we can help.

No, you can only create a passkey on your device, and you’ll need to use that same passkey to sign in to the web.
Please note that you should never delete your passkey from your device because that will make it very, very difficult for you to sign in to your Paytali account. To avoid sign-in issues, leave your passkey saved on your device.
