What can I do with PayTali?
A practical introduction to the exchange marketplace, NGN wallet and merchant desk.
PayTali connects people who want to exchange currency with merchant offers. An offer shows the exchange rate, amount range and payment method. You can browse offers yourself or use Quick Match, then follow the resulting order through payment and payout.
Choose the journey you need
- Create an account and complete verification before trying to trade.
- Browse exchange offers for the NGN ⇄ EGP or XOF ⇄ EGP corridor shown in P2P. A listed corridor does not guarantee that a merchant is available.
- Fund your NGN wallet if you are spending NGN to buy EGP. That path uses your available wallet funds; do not send a second payment to the merchant.
- Apply to become a merchant if you want to publish exchange offers. Ordinary accounts do not get merchant permissions automatically.
Check what is available before paying
Use the currency, rate, limits and instructions on your current offer and order. Payment and verification services must be available for a journey to succeed. PayTali’s NGN wallet is separate in purpose from merchant security collateral; neither an offer nor a Help Center article guarantees a payout time.
Looking for an older banking guide?
This Help Center covers the PayTali features listed above. It does not provide instructions for issuing payment cards, savings interest, overdrafts, stock investing, airtime, utility bills, eSIMs or referral rewards. If you followed an older link about one of these services, contact support before assuming it is available.
