Buy EGP using your NGN wallet
Understand why this exchange path can skip the manual transfer and proof step.
When you buy EGP in the NGN ⇄ EGP corridor, the implemented flow uses your available NGN wallet funds. The system checks your balance while creating the order and reserves the amount for that trade.
Before ordering
- Fund your wallet through the dedicated deposit account and wait for the confirmed credit to appear.
- Check Available balance rather than relying on the total. Open orders, pending withdrawals or merchant restrictions can reduce spendable funds.
- Choose an EGP offer in the NGN corridor, enter an eligible amount and provide the receiving destination.
- Place the order and open its status. This path advances automatically through the buyer-paid step to merchant receipt confirmation.
- Wait for the merchant payout. Verify receipt in your actual receiving account before confirming it in PayTali.
Do not pay twice
“Merchant Processing Payout” can be the first order screen on this path. It does not mean a bank-transfer instruction is missing. Do not send an extra transfer or upload an invented payment receipt to move the order forward.
If the balance or status is wrong
Keep the order reference and wallet activity. Refresh both pages once and contact support if funds remain unavailable unexpectedly. Do not create a second order or treat the wallet and merchant collateral as interchangeable balances.
If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
