Upload payment proof and check it was submitted

Attach a genuine receipt on the correct order and recover from upload problems.

Submit proof only after actually sending the payment requested by a manual-payment order. A wallet-funded order can advance automatically and should not need an invented receipt.

Submit proof on the website

  1. Reopen the correct order and check that the manual-payment action is available.
  2. Choose I’ve Sent Payment (Upload Proof), then select the genuine receipt file.
  3. Use a clear receipt that identifies the relevant transfer. The upload endpoint accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF extensions. Do not include unrelated customer information.
  4. Submit the dialog. Reopen the order and check for Payment Proof Submitted or BUYER_PAID.
  5. Keep your original receipt and transfer reference until the trade is resolved.

On the native app

The payment-proof view opens the device image picker. Allow photo access if prompted, choose the actual receipt image and submit it. A PDF supported by the web endpoint is not an image selectable through the native photo picker.

If an upload fails or the proof is missing

Check your connection, supported file type and whether the order still permits submission. The current client has a file-reference fallback, so a status change alone does not prove that a receipt file reached storage. If no receipt can be accessed or an upload error appears, keep the original and contact support. Do not fabricate a filename or assume the merchant can inspect a missing file.

If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
