A wallet deposit has not appeared
Check the transfer result and gather the right details without paying twice.
A debit in your sending account does not by itself prove that PayTali has received and confirmed the deposit. Keep the original receipt while checking.
Check the deposit
- Open your bank or payment-provider app and read the transfer’s final status. Record its reference, date, amount and recipient bank/account.
- Compare the recipient with the dedicated NGN account in your own PayTali Wallet. Do not compare against a merchant payment account or another user’s screenshot.
- Refresh Wallet and inspect Transaction History for a matching credit and any fee entry.
- If the debit remains unresolved, contact support with the transfer reference and a redacted receipt. State whether the recipient details match and whether the sending provider marks it pending, failed or successful.
If you used the wrong destination
Contact the sending provider and PayTali support promptly. Do not send a second transfer to “unlock” the first. This Help Center cannot guarantee reversal of a completed bank transfer.
What not to share
Do not send passwords, OTPs, full identity numbers or unrelated account activity. A support request needs the relevant transaction evidence, not remote access to your banking app. No fixed missing-deposit resolution time is verified here.
If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
